Kite Surfing in Vietnam

While holidaying in Vietnam I came across kite surfers on the beach twice, with a kite mad brother I though I'd snap a couple of pics. The first one was in Hoi An (known primarily for cheap custom made clothes but also has a great beach).

Shortly after I took this pic (right) I witnessed him hurl onto the beach, skip a crazy bambi run for about a hundred metres - whether he was struggling not to take off or just burning his feet on the hot sand I'm not sure - but it helped us make the decision we werent going to have a go by getting a lesson with him.

A few days later in Nha Trang we saw some more - and were they going fast - at least equalling the speed of the jet skis! Best have a go with big bro on land first me thinks....
